Workshop in Pamplona for adolescents who feel alone
- 21% of young people are severely lonely and unaccompanied. In order to cope with the data provided by the Telefónica de la Esperanza, an emotional support workshop has been organized in Pamplona aimed at young people aged 14 to 18. So far, the workshop was aimed at people over 65 years of age, but among young people there has been a worsening of mental health and loneliness.
In Pamplona, the workshop will be held in the first quarter of the year, related to loneliness, self-esteem and social relations. The workshop “Know yourself, you are yourself” aims to work the personal knowledge of each one, exploring their emotional world, thoughts, feelings and relationships. It is about learning to know oneself and relate better with others, as well as offering a safe and reliable space that allows them to speak and share their concerns.” The workshop will last three months in twelve sessions of two hours a week and must be signed by the parents or guardians of the young.
The Phone de la Esperanza will hold the workshop thanks to the agreement with the City of Pamplona. Studies related to youth aim to respond to the reality they show.
