On 11 June a former Lezama national police will be tried for firing the house of a family on the Abertzale left living in the same town. In fact, the special charge will require a 13-and-a-half year prison sentence for the deposit of weapons and explosives. However, the Public Prosecutor ' s Office will join the two accusations and seek a 7-and-a-half year prison term for possession of war weapons.
And that is that, interestingly, in the trial against the defendant comes the slightest request for gunshot sanction, although when the bullet entered the kitchen, there were two family members inside. This has resulted in a one-month criminal complaint for damages. He runs the risk of being imprisoned for the quantity of weapons stored by the accused.
It should be remembered, according to the prosecutor, that when the Ertzaintza visited the house for the third time, the former national police acknowledged having fired at the house. He also gave agents the weapon used for this purpose (9 mm STAR gun), which he kept in a natural hole.
However, the Ertzaines not only carried that weapon, because the former police had many more at home, all without permission, because they only had normal permission to have weapons. Among the weapons available was the aforementioned, seven other pistols and one carabine. Moreover, the majority, in total, had no identifying marks, that is, they are of unknown origin.
The list of these elements is as follows:
As if that were not enough, the defendant stored hundreds of bullets and cartridges at his home. There were bullets and cartridges of different calibres both in the boxes and in the loaders, of which 27 were illegal. In fact, three had cuts, six were manipulated (they were without projectiles, but someone put their bullet) and another 18 were empty tips (this type of ammo is not legal).
The cumulative ammunition was so plentiful that the Ertzaines had not counted everything and 115 cartridges remained unidentified. In any case, they reported on:
Along with this, the Ertzaintza detected 3 kilos and 883 grams of gunpowder on several boats.
But within the imputee's collection, the most striking thing is war weapons. Most are unusable, but between the two existing aircraft pumps one has a load: the D1E pump.
Those without load are:
But the warehouse of the former national police had more weapons that cannot be used all. However, only one is accredited, the rest is not:
In addition, 131 pieces of weapons, Mauser, Star and CETME appeared in the exploration.
The process has been attended by experts and experts from the Ertzaintza and the Civil Guard for the analysis of the number of weapons appearing.
