A soldier from the Azov Battalion takes part in the Greek Parliament
- Zelenski appeared in the Greek Parliament with a Greek soldier fighting in the Azov Battalion, who has been accused by several parties.
The President of Ukraine, Zelenski, appeared before the parliaments, the international fora and the Grammy Awards, where he spoke yesterday in the Greek Parliament, but the President took an unexpected guest.
The Communist Party of Greece decided not to attend Zelenski's hearing because it considers that the Zelenski government legitimises Nazi propaganda and that neo-Nazi groups such as the Azov Battalion are integrated into its army. Following the appearance of the battalion soldier, the Communist formation has denounced that there has been a "Nazi propaganda" in the Greek Parliament.
Alexis Tsipras of the opposition majority party, SYRIZA, has also described this appearance as "historical shame", in which four members of the party left. Most parties in Parliament, both left and right, have denounced the appearance of the Azov Battalion soldier.
Greek Government spokesman Giannis Oikonomou, for his part, described as "inappropriate and wrong" that a Batalion Azov soldier was found guilty of rape.
Former Greek Minister of Economy Yanis Varoufakis said that Zelenski has abused the invitation of the Greek Parliament.

However, Zelenski’s words were received in Parliament between applause.
