The migrant caravan is neither ahead nor behind. The United States has made it difficult to pass the fence, which has been reinforced by the presence of military personnel. There have been many attempts, but Trump’s response is clear: the hit will be deported. They have been on the border for more than three weeks and survival is being untenable. Impotence is imposed.
The movement against migrants is gaining strength. Manifestations are not as frequent as before, but they feel “happy” that migrants give in shortly. They are aware of the situation. The Mexican Government has taken the decision to reduce aid to migrants. Instead of passing the fence, one of the options is to drive. The Mafias have put their hand in a pocket, asking for between 4,000 and 8,000 dollars for the trip. Customs controls are even more numerous, because the United States is already aware of this.
Some migrants have already turned half way Publico.es. The International Migration Organization (IOM) has offered them an air service and about a hundred people have returned to Honduras. But this is not within everyone’s grasp: some have lost their homes to participate in the caravan.
The majority of the population remains on the border, waiting for victory. Despite the difficulties, they do not want to give up. Some want to “already” cross the border, but others are willing to earn some money in Tijuana in exchange for a miserable job, and when the border environment “relaxes” they will try to move to the other side. The old “bloc of forces” is not like the present one: individual war has begun.
“Let them go where they have come”
“80. In the 1990s the United States took you with good hand,” says a Honduran who nearly forty years ago crossed the border and asked for asylum, according to the New York Times. Times are different. In the middle of the Cold War, those fleeing from the Communist countries of the South of the United States. However, today, it seems that the behavior of the United States is totally different. The United States is no longer a refuge.
Denying the right of asylum would mean going against the law, and that is well known to Donald Trump, who is right. Asylum can be sought, but it has become more and more difficult. The Head of National Security, Kristjen Nielsen, said clearly: “Asylum is for those fleeing persecution or persecution, not for those who want a better job; these scams are unacceptable.” Donald Trump has already said on Twitter that they must be sent "immediately", without going past the Court's ruling or tribunal.
We cannot allow all of these people to invade our Country. When somebody comes in, we must immediately with no Judges or Court Cases, bring them back from where they came. Our system is a mockery to good etorkation policy and Law and Order. Most children come without parents...
