Tofig Guliev was arrested on 23 April in Itsasu, in a customs control, where she was arrested. He was released a few hours after being transferred to the Uztaritze police station to be released. They gave him 45 days to leave the country and imposed a ban on his return to it. Guliev is from Azerbaijan, he is the father of two children and has been living in Lekorne for about a year.
The Eskuz esku partnership provides material and humanitarian aid to migrants arriving in the French Basque Country and has denounced the Guliev order to leave the French territory. The relatives asked for political asylum when they arrived in the French state, but the complete failure to comply with the report meant that they were left without a request for regulation, and the association points out that that is why it has now received "this brutal condemnation".
The decision has been appealed with the help of the association and its lawyer, but the administration has kept the decision on its own terms. The association has called for a concentration on 12 May at 17:00 a.m. before the subprefecture of Baiona in order to denounce the situation in Gulievi and request the annulment of the measures imposed.
