The sessions will take place between 5 November and 26 November (full programme here). As a result of the current health situation, all sessions will be held with a limited capacity and all necessary measures will be ensured to prevent the spread of the pandemic.
The cycle starts with a special festival that will remember the ephemeris, which will offer a concert at the Arriaga Theatre. On the stage will be two bertsolaris who sang the first Bertsoaroa in 1991, and two young bertsolaris navarros today, with whom they will talk about the moment and the present. On the other hand, Mikel Taberna was in charge of putting the themes at that first festival and will feature Alaitz Rekondo, who has participated in numerous festivals in recent years. The program has been designed four ways away.
On November 10, Xabier Amuriza and Agus Barandiaran will offer a musical talk entitled Koplariak koplari. Amuriza will focus on the coplas collected and created in recent decades to make known to the public the influence that the coplas have had on popular music. In addition, Agus Barandiaran (Korrontzi taldea) will accompany the trikitixa in the story.
The next day, 11 November, will be the turn of the young. The youngest quote in Bertsolaris is the usual one, and this year, the cycle will continue to bet on driving the new generations of bertsolaris. In this regard, the programme will be disembarked for the first time in Katakrak with the aim of providing a space that is clean and close to the bertsolaris and the youngest.
There will also be a special bertsos session in the Present. The so-called feminist genealogy of Bertsolarism, to be held on November 17. The project, which received the Lanku Scholarship last year, aims to rewrite and re-read the history of Bertsolarism. In particular, the programme will address the history of Bertsolaris women in the front line of programming.
Children’s programming will also have its place in this year’s edition of Bertsoaroa. On 21 November, the Civivox Mendillorri hosts the children's workshop Bertso jasa, improvised game. Children will be proposing themes and situations through games and exercises, to which two bertsolaris will offer the program.
The Errimak bi oinetan performance of the company Haatik will lead the dance to Bertsoaro this year, on November 24. The company has turned the sound of bertsolarism into a contemporary movement and, using the rhymes of several bertsolaris of yesterday and today, five dancers will offer a show.
This year’s Bertsoaro will be closed on 26 November, and as usual another bertsolaris festival will also be responsible for closing the cycle.
Here's the poster of the entire program:
In recent years, I have made little progress. I have said it many times, I know, but just in case. Today I attended a bertsos session. “I wish you a lot.” Yes, that is why I have warned that I leave little, I assume that you are attending many cultural events, and that you... [+]
