The Attorney General's Office of the National Court uses the third grade of prisoner Roberto Lebrero
- The Vitorian prisoner received the third grade in Álava prison in July 2022 and with him the exit permits. Last Wednesday, the National Court returned Asier Rodríguez, a prisoner of Santurtzi, to prison after the recovery of the degree.
Roberto Lebrero was imprisoned in 2002. If the National Court admits the appeal, it would return to the second grade and the closed regime. Currently, from Monday to Thursday, you must enter prison to sleep.
ARGIA has known that the National Court’s Prosecutor’s Office has also appealed against the third degree granted to two other Basque political prisoners. Since the recognition of several Basque prisoners by prison treatment commissions began in February 2022, the Prosecutor’s Office has submitted dozens of appeals: seven have been rejected by the National Court and seven have been approved.
Asier Rodríguez imprisoned
On Wednesday, the Santurtziarra prisoner Asier Rodríguez returned to prison after the withdrawal of the third grade by the National High Court and the restoration of the second. In November he received the third grade Rodríguez.
