Workers from several autoschools in Gipuzkoa have participated in the mobilization of Tuesday from Berio to denounce the lack of examiners and the “laziness” of the institutions. At present, in the absence of examiners, 5,000 persons are awaiting examination.
That is why the Association of Autoschools in Gipuzkoa has urged the Basque Government to manage to transfer the tests to resolve the problem once and for all. The fact is that for job vacancies students need to take the test and many have reported that they are losing opportunities. Likewise, the Association of Autoschools of Gipuzkoa has denounced that the Provincial Traffic Headquarters “does not accept the sector’s proposals” and “does few theoretical and practical tests”. The association has criticized the “laziness” of the Provincial Traffic Headquarters and the Spanish Administration.
At present, four examinations have been announced in Gipuzkoa, Donostia, Beasain and Azpeitia, and it has been noted that in the face of the situation and if the situation does not change, they will continue to be mobilised.
