PROGRESO | "Alsasua has been part of the political conflict in Euskal Herria"
- Four years ago "some" decided to take Altsasu to the forefront of politics and media, one of those clashes that have occurred in many areas of the Basque Country in recent decades. Seven young people and a whole village turned into a devil. Adur Ramírez de Alda is one of the young people who surprised him in the middle of the Remanso and was imprisoned at the age of 21. With him we have talked about yoke, trick, prison, solidarity and victory. This is a small preview of the interview that we will post next week.
Can it be Oñati like Altsasu has been?
Yes, because it is one of the peoples working the claim “Alde Hemendik”. However, what I am sure is clear is that the fact that I was in Navarre was important, in order to oppose the Government of Navarre, prompted by the agreement between Geroa Bai, Euskal Herria Bildu, Abbas Dugu and Left. That is why I would say that in Etxarri there were more possibilities than in Oñati, for example.
What has the Civil Guard headquarters brought to Alsasua?
I always link the Civil Guard to suffering. It is an organization that welcomes the people. From a very young age we have known the Civil Guard beating, arresting, beating people. That is the contribution to the people. Still today.
Have you had any relationship with people living in the barracks?
I don't know anybody. And I don't think we've shared the same spaces.
The “relationship” between the Civil Guard and Sakana is not pleasant. A long time ago.
The canyoning has always been very active and lively on many issues. This has always had a reaction from the powerful. In the region we have two barracks, in Irurtzun and in Altsasu. The presence of the Civil Guard is suffocating, and in this pandemic situation, nothing to say. But well, the police state and the pandemic go hand in hand everywhere.
Should Spanish security forces leave Euskal Herria?
Yes. Clearly. In the Basque Country, the status of people must be denied.
Are you another consequence of the “Everything is ETA” theory?
Yes. Although I don't really like the definition of "Everything is ETA," that link invented by Garzón and the company. Perhaps it would have been more appropriate “Everything is the National Liberation Movement.”
Well, Garzón himself talked about his part and said it was an excess.
When they are in power, they act firmly in favour of certain interests, but when they leave responsibility, many judges, politicians and ministers change their discourse. Garzón was the most responsible for that evil doctrine, but well, it is now a good thing that that is said. Both contradictory and contradictory.

Altsasuko auziak eragindako gertaerak izan zirela lau urte bete ziren ostegunean. Defentsek auzibidearekin aurrera jarraitzen dute. Bi auzipetuk preso segitzen dute, bostek 3. graduan eta bakarra dago aske.
