Covite reported that Mikel Albisu coordinated groups of readers from different municipalities in northern Navarre. Accordingly, and based on the “Plan de Convivencia de Navarra”, the Department of Culture of Navarra urged several municipalities to suspend Albisu’s responsibility in the management of these groups of lectores.Los technicians of Aezkoa, Aoiz and Erroibar Auritz have been hired to energize the group of readers Albisu.
Now, fifteen people from Aurizberri’s readers’ group have denounced in this way that Mikel Anza, the literary name of Albisu, “want to deny their right to work as a free citizen without any court or tribunal ruling it.”
The group of readers affirms that “truly enriching sessions are always taking place” and that during the four years of the initiative they have learned to talk about the thoughts that arise within them, “so that others are understood”. They have also learned to “listen to others, taking into account their opinions.
But, above all, thanks to these tertulias we have deepened our fondness to literature, we have learned from literature and we have emerged richer than we entered the session: we have seen the book we read in color thanks to those who participated in the tertulia”.
According to the signatories, “it is not only an attack on Mikel, responsible for organizing tertulias, but also on literature and the Basque Country”. And they ask that they “leave us alone as before, listening to everyone’s advice, to enjoy the readings proposed by Mikel.”
The group has disseminated the document on the website www.emanbakea.eus. It contains the signatories, the list of books they have analyzed in the talks and the possibility of citizens joining the document.
Albisu was arrested in the French state in 2004 and remained in detention until 2019. The Spanish Security Forces estimate that for years he was a member of the head of ETA. Spanish legislation encourages reintegration policies with all prisoners so that when they leave the street they can work like any citizen. In reality, on the contrary, and especially by various associations of victims, the work of many political prisoners is made more difficult, especially if public institutions are involved directly or indirectly.

Joan Tartas (Sohüta, 1610 - date of unknown death) is not one of the most famous writers in the history of our letters and yet we discover good things in this “mendre piece” whose title, let us admit it from the beginning, is probably not the most commercial of the titles... [+]
When we woke up, culturally and administratively, the landscape showed a three-speed disaster.
