Lehendakari, Iñigo Urkullu, announced this Thursday morning that he will hold a meeting of the LABI in view of the increasing incidence of coronavirus cases. No such meeting was foreseen, as lehendakari himself announced that the measure would be maintained, despite the increase in coronavirus data.

At the gates of the Basque Parliament, however, he has informed the media that he will finally meet on Friday at 16:30 a.m. Urkullu has said that it does not rule out the adoption of "more drastic" restrictive measures, such as the execution of closures of municipal or territorial scope that limit movements or that further strengthen the schedules of establishments.

However, despite the fact that the deadline for requesting a curfew was opened on Wednesday and that the end of unnecessary activities was brought forward by 20:00, the Interterritorial Council of Health has decided to maintain the Holy Week plan.

In Navarre, the measures in force, even if extended until after the holidays of Easter, do not rule out that, if the data increase considerably, they will be hardened. In the case of Navarre, according to the current regulations, there is a limit of four people in closed spaces and six in open spaces.
