I'm a racist.
But someone has to do the jobs we do not yet want to do in hospitality, cleaning, care, transportation, construction.
I am racist, but I was glad to read that “the Gipuzkoa Hospitality Association is working on the project of bringing about 50 people from Colombia to deal with the shortage of workers”, and that the Spanish Government wants to do the same to cater to the sectors that have a lack of labor, adapting to this the Foreign Affairs Act itself. The generous opportunity opened in 2013 is, in short, a little more generosity, since, beyond that year, the foreigner who buys a property of 500,000 euros is automatically welcomed by the Kingdom of Spain as a legal member of the community.
I am racist, but lukewarm, fairly democratic, of those who say “I am not racist, but”. I am dissatisfied by those who have the habit of dripping in the cold waters of the Bidasoa, and I would not insult or aerate the Gixeos of the street. That is why I have publicly denounced Vox for his extreme racism, but I am grateful in intimacy for having bleached my racism: what a scandal could have been due to racist initiatives such as those at the top that handle people as a mere resource.
I'm a racist, but somebody has to clean up the droppings of our companies, our homes, our asses, somebody has to serve us in the food and drunks of our weekend or vacation. Yes, I would also prefer that, in the option, one should do so, dignify working conditions and justify jobs, but it is not real – it is not a matter of ideology, it is a matter of market. It is much more real to wait a bit, because tomorrow we ourselves are going to pray that they will exploit us in the conditions that are despicable to us today, unless they explain to us, and then we will send with a kick all those resources that we now bring back.
