"At first they were a dozen people worried about pollution and climate change. Coinciding with the announcement of the G7 summit in Biarritz, on the first Saturdays of each month they decided to mobilize their environment with activities on the beaches. Gradually, the movement is increasing and the entire ocean lover meets. The Sabina Hourcade and Lucie Francini Surfrider Fondation militants summarize the "Rema for Your Planet" movement. They followed closely this movement of surfers and also produced the documentary of the same name.

To the question of whether remar is a militant action, the producers of the documentary answer the following: "This is much more symbolic than the militant compared to the actions of other associations and political parties. Taking as a starting point the G7 summit in Biarritz, the year before the summit twelve mobilisations were made: the surfers met once a month to spread the message for the environment in the group.
