What Apple has done is to launch a news notification system for iPhone users, offering a brief summary of the main news from trusted sources such as the New York Times (NYT) or the BBC, according to the images.
These examples were seen in November and December. Netanyahu was arrested, as if he had reportedly been published by the New York Times; or that Luigi Mangion had committed suicide (source of BBC names). Both news stories are false, and neither NYT nor BBC have published anything like that.
