The human chain brings together citizens of Antzuola and its surroundings. In the final agreement, the organization has pointed out that "we are not against renewable energies, we are aware of the need for this renewable energy, but we are against this type of macro project. We are against entrepreneurs and rich people taking a natural space and exploiting it as they want and not benefiting citizens, enriching themselves in nature."
It explains what the project is: resources have been presented by the citizens and the municipalities of Antzuola and Urretxu, against the Trekutz project, and are awaiting the Government’s response (they expect to receive in five months).
According to the information provided by EITB, "Urretxu City Hall says there are errors in the request for administrative authorizations, there is a lack of reports and measurements and the environmental impact study presented has deficiencies".
