Antonio Turiel, CSIC scientist and founder of the blog The Oil Crash, is known for his critical vision of renewable energy and for his informative work. His book Petrokalipsia, recently edited by the editorial Txalaparta in Euskera, has been a success because it questions the beliefs that exist about fossil fuels. Without Energia it tries to explain the issues and conflicts that we will have in the short term in the field of energy. On 3 May Turiel will offer a conference in Zumaia. The event, organized by Piztu Kooperatiba S., will take place at the Aita Mari Theatre at 18:00.
The talk will take place on May 4 in Azpeitia. It is organized by environmental groups and mountain associations in the region, under the initiative "101 reasons not to build wind in the mountains". In this case, the talk will be given along with the geologist and researcher Antonio Aretxabala, under the motto Crisis of materials and energy. It will start at 19:00 at the Soreasu Theatre.
