The Court of Instruction No. 4 of Donostia-San Sebastian has estimated a petition presented by the family of the amateur of the Real Sociedad, Amaya Zabarte, and will make known all the images of that day. In addition, the judge has requested that the officers or police officers of the groups be identified when the aggression of the Ertzaintza took place.

Prior to the match played on 5 March between Paris Saint-Germain and Real Sociedad, the Reale Arena de Donostia was seriously wounded in Zabarte's head when there was an aggression by the Ertzaintza. Everything indicates that he suffered an internal effusion due to a foam shell and was admitted to the ICU for a few days.

Since then, the case has experienced many vicissitudes and the family has repeatedly denounced the negligence of the Ertzaintza in the investigation of what happened. The Court of Donostia-San Sebastian provisionally filed the case, but after an appeal, last November the Provincial Court of Gipuzkoa rejected that decision and ordered the judge of Donostia-San Sebastián to initiate further proceedings.

In the face of these proceedings, the family again requested in another appeal that its lawyers have access to the images of the video of 5 March. So far, only a short minute and a half video has been released showing how Zabarte fell to the ground and how, supposedly, a policeman kicks him up.

According to the EFE agency, this second appeal has been estimated by the Donostia-San Sebastián court, which will make the images known to the lawyers. In addition, the judge has asked the Ertzaintza to open an internal investigation to identify the commanders or officers of the groups involved in the incidents that day.
