Tens of thousands of people in Pamplona denounce the injustice of the young people of Altsasu
- Thousands of people refocused to denounce the judgment of the Court of Justice and to show their solidarity with young people. Depending on the area occupied by the esplanade, according to the organizers, 52,000 people were concentrated before the Court of Justice of Navarra.
From the first hour of the morning a lot of people were seen in Pamplona, especially in the Casco Viejo, with t-shirts like those of Altsasu, and that already announced that there were going to be a lot of people in the afternoon mobilisation. Solidarity with those of Alsasua was also a good time.
In the morning the Alsasua Cycling March was held in Pamplona and at 17:00 the session of Pamplona began. Once again, the Altsasukoak aske Group and the parents of the young people strongly denounced the situation of Altsasu and his sons and daughters. They stressed that the Spanish State makes them suffer a great deal, but that they will not surrender and again thank them for the solidarity they have received in recent years.
They particularly denounced the injustice of the case, saying that the case has not been of any proportionality. Many political and social actors supported mobilisation and it is clear in a broad section of Basque society that the Spanish State has wanted to use the issue as an exemplary punishment.
