The public companies Renfe and ADIF have closed the lockers of the three stations of Navarra. People interested in purchasing tickets for the train in Castejón, Tafalla or Alsasua should do so via the website or via the mobile phone to make the trip. The decision to close these windows has not been provisional and is related to what is happening in other parts of the Spanish State. The CGT trade union has denounced that such decisions "do not benefit areas where they are empty".
In a statement, the public company ADIF explained that, as a general rule, it will only assume cards at stations with more than 100 passengers and a certain number of ticket office sales.
The Subai Erakuntza Foundation, for its part, regretted that "the new year has meant the dismantling of the local train of Navarra".
