600 listeners and six bertsolaris met last Saturday at the Muxikebarri Center of Getxo to start the championship. After the assignable works, each received the following harvest in the classification: Alaia Martín 738 points, Nerea Elustondo 695 points, Agin Laburu 685, Oihana Bartrak 653.5, Unai Mendizabal 635 and Peru Abarrategui 627.

On Sunday, 700 people filled the Teatro Amaia de Arrasate. Xabier Silveira was in charge of singing, but for a last-minute carelessness, Xabat Illarregi sang instead. If you qualify, Xabat Illarregi will continue in the championship and Silveira stays out.

After the session, Joanes Illarregui added the most points: 678 points. After him, Saioa Alkaiza received 673, Iñaki Apalategi 664, Xabat Illarregi 659, Miren Amuriza 646.5 and Gorka Pagonabarraga 616.

Next sessions and classification

Alaia Martin and Joanes Illarregi, who have made the first place in Getxo and Arrasate, are live rated to the semi-finals, both will act on 22 October in Elizondo together with the finalist in the previous tournament Unai Agirre.

The rest of the bertsolaris will have to wait until the end of all the sessions of the first phase, as in addition to those in the first place in each of the sessions, a further 13 bertsolaris will be moved to the semi-finals, depending on the points they have received. Next weekend the next two sessions of the first phase will be played: October 1 in Gotaine-Irabarne (here you can see what bertsolaris will sing) and October 2 in Gasteiz (the bertsolaris that will sing here).
