2,000 people met on November 12 in Landako gunea de Durango. The scores after the session are as follows: Aitor Mendiluze 726.5 points; Beñat Gaztelumendi 716.5; Julio Soto 686; Aitor Bizkarra 677.5; Saioa Alkaiza 662; and Eñaut Martikorena 636.5 points. All the bertsolaris that have sung in this programme have managed to move on to the second phase.

18 bertsolaris in the second round of semifinals

Here you can see the full classification table. Ane Labaka, Nerea Elustondo, Iñaki Apalategi, Asiera Azpirozez, Haritz Mujika and Aitor Etxebarriazarraga have closed the Tournament singing in the first round of the semifinals.

The other eighteen will continue and those appearing at the top of the table will aim to enter the first seven positions of the final. Among them, Alaia Martín (729.5 points), Aitor Mendiluze (726.5), Beñat Gaztelumendi (716.5 points), Joanes Illarregi (711) and Subai Colina (710) already have more than 710 points united. The following trio has more than 685 points: Oihana Iguaran (688.5), Amets Arzallus (688) and Julio Soto (686). They already form a set of eight bertsolaris, and seven will get the card from the end.

But on the next step there are three other bertsolaris with over 670 points that will try to make the jump up: Aitor Bizkarra (677.5), Agin Laburu (677) and Nerea Ibarzabal (673).

From position 12, as the cumulative points in the bag decrease, the jump to take in the second session is increasing and in the equation you also have to slip the higher ones, but until nothing is produced it is decided. And all of these bertsolaris have a card to sing again to thousands of people, and because that doesn't happen every day, in the second session they'll try to suppress the bertsos. Saioa Alkaiza (662 points), Jone Uria (660.5), Unai Agirre (652.5), Miren Artetxe (644.5), Onintza Enbeita (639.5), Eñaut Martikorena (636.5) and Maddalen Arzallus (635).

Regarding the characteristics, of the 18 bertsolaris classified for the second round, 8 are women and 10 men. Seven are Gipuzkoans, four Biscayan, three Navarros and three Labortans.

Next session on 19 November in Amurrio

The sports club Bañueta de Amurrio will host the first lap of the second round. Looking at the classification table, it is a program full of emotions in which Alaia Martín, who so far has obtained more points in the semi-finals, Oihana Iguaran, very similar in points with Arzallus and Soto, compete in the final, and Aitor Bizkarra and Agin Laburu, who are at the next step in the clustered points. Therefore, the Amurrio program will give the clue on the points where the entry barrier may be at the end.
