Congressional spokesman Aitor Esteban regretted that for the agreement between PSOE and UPyD to be possible it lost 1.5 million votes and the majority in the Senate, as well as the increase of Vox. Moreover, he did not advance the position of the seven Jeltzales deputies in the investiture of Pedro Sánchez, although he stressed that they will be "responsible" after a campaign in which they have called for stability and dialogue.
The PNV was unaware of the talks between Pedro Sánchez and Pablo Iglesias, but after the signing of the agreement, the PSOE spokeswoman, Adriana lastra, has called Esteban, as explained at a press conference in Sabin Etxea. Now, the Jeltzales expect Sanchez to address them to broaden the basis of the agreement and get sufficient support for the investiture. The party's chairman, Andoni Ortuzar, has already said that the basis should be the majority of the motion of censure.
"We can certainly reach many agreements," said Esteban, although he was critical of the "generic" proposals of the United Nations Podemos, as the PNV has done for many years. In addition, it has called for the future Government of Catalonia to take the necessary steps for the proper integration of the Catalan and Basque nation in Spain.
Esteban has pointed out that future negotiations will be discreet, that they will not be counted live, but will remain silent. We have to talk. I cannot tell you what we are going to do. We will see," he told journalists in statements to journalists after training.

It is no wonder that the Greek party Syriza and the former lehendakari Tsipras have not been seen or heard at all in this campaign, despite, I believe, the Greek experience. Deliberately forgotten to the people, but very present in the campaign designs. Remember the programme... [+]
"All politicians are equal." Every time I hear this phrase, I get impatience. The same impatience that I experience when I hear someone proclaim to be a politician or a citizen of the world.
It also happens to me with other rounds of another kind: they can be lighter – in a... [+]
