The World Women’s March (EMM) has declared in a press release that 2012 has started with a strong start on violence against women. It has denounced that the pandemic of male violence has been going on for centuries in this world and no one cares about it. They have warned that they are not willing to bear the disease and have warned that feminism is the only antidote. Pujana, a 32-year-old Donostian woman, died on 4 January in the Etxabe district of Aizarnazabal, on the banks of the Urola River. The disappearance was denounced by her partner on 1 January, according to the same source.
