From 29 October to 1 November a creative stay of the eighth Voice will take place
- The hostel in Amaiur welcomes young people between the ages of 15 and 22 dedicated to oral creation. The project will be led by the Bertsozale Elkartea Association, which will work as an assistant, delegating leadership to Euskaltzaindia.
The creative rooms of a Voice aim to bring together young people between 15 and 22 years of age from the Basque Country who work in oral creation, promote networks of relationships between them and create a space for experimentation. This year the eighth edition is celebrated, and on this occasion the refuge of Amaiur has been chosen as a space for its stays. Participants will enter the bertso, theatre, song and literature from October 29 to November 1. The registration period was opened on 3 October and will remain open until 20 October. Interested people can register on the Euskaltzaindia website by filling out the questionnaire. The price of stays is EUR 100 and the places will be covered in order of registration.
Young people who sign up will be able to enjoy the visit of creators and creators of different cultural expressions. They will be able to participate with actress Ainhoa Artetxe, poet Iñigo Astiz and singers Paxkal Irigoien and Maia Iribarne-Olhagarai, who will come to the Amaiur Refuge to offer a concert. In addition to the creators mentioned, the Gaitera Ainhoa Castorene will visit them; it is not the only approach to Bertsolaris, as on 29 October they will take a tour of Donibane Garazi to see the semi-final of the Bertsolaris General Championship.
In 2015, the creative stay of a Voice was celebrated for the first time and to date the Bertsozale Elkartea Association has led the project through the Mintzola Oral Workshop. From now on, Euskaltzaindia will take over the Mintzola project and work with the Bertsozale Association.
