Ahal Dugu and Sumar stand apart from the Basque Parliament elections

Following the poor election results in Galicia, in recent days the militants of the Sumar Movement, Ezker Anitza, IU, Equo Berdeak and Elkarrekin Ahal Duguko have been collecting signatures for the four political groups to come together in the forthcoming elections of the Basque Parliament. But Sumar's spokesman, Lander Martinez, said there will be no coalition.
In statements made at ETB, Martínez recalled that in recent months they have held numerous negotiating meetings, but have not been able to do so later, and said that "Ahal Duguk chose another path long ago".
In the same vein, Alba García Sumar, candidate for the presidency of the Movement, explains in an interview in Berria that they attach great importance to trust and that there is a fundamental problem in his relationship with Ahal Dugue: "We have political, legal and legal independence to make this agreement here, but not all parties can guarantee it."
Thus, everything points out that in the elections held in the CAV there will be two lists: on the one hand, the Sumar Movement, the coalition of Ezker Anitza and Equo Berdeak, with Alba García as a candidate, and on the other, Elkarrekin Ahal Dugu, Miren Gorrotxategi as a candidate for the presidency of the violent party.
Gorrotxategi on Tuesday was prepared to reject his candidature if necessary. In the face of Sumar's subsequent statements, Network X has stated that "efforts and two" have been made to reach a unity agreement and that it feels that "part of this political space does not listen to what most of its voters demand".
