Of the 30 places that have been offered to participate in the course, 15 are reserved for women and 7 for people for farmers’ organizations and the pre-enrollment period will be extended from May 15 to June 30. According to the organizers, the course has been organized with the following people and groups in mind:
a) People and farmers who are in the process of installation in the agricultural sector of the Basque Country.
b) Activists and people liberated from social movements and organizations (agricultural unions and the Basque agrarian movement, workers’ unions, social and solidarity economy organizations, alternative consumption groups and networks, GGKE, feminist collectives and networks, youth networks, etc.).
(c) Persons working in the public administration and working on issues related to food sovereignty (land management, rural development, local economic development, etc.).
d) Students from Universities and Agricultural Schools interested in deepening in Food Sovereignty and Agroecology.
e) People willing to participate actively in the practice of Food Sovereignty from different areas.
