Evidence the manipulation of VOX against young migrants
- During the election campaign in Madrid, VOX has aroused controversy in the posters for having had a full impact on the minor breeders. The contents of this poster and the manipulation behind the image have been highlighted in recent days.
Vox has placed electoral advertising at the Puerta del Sol station in Madrid, in a space managed by Renfe, against unaccompanied migrant minors. Through a data manipulation message, it has targeted unaccompanied foreign minors who are fleeing. "Migrant minors: EUR 4,700 per month. Your grandmother: A pension of EUR 426 per month," was the message that was disseminated in the poster. According to several media reports, no country in the Spanish State has any financial support to guarantee expenditure of EUR 4,700.
Also manipulated was the photograph used inside the poster of the Virgin Blanca.La photo used by VOX is not that of a minor migrant and the photo is taken in Bangladesh. According to El Diario.es, they have spoken to the author of the image, Ahnav Piash, and it has been stated that Piash did not believe he was using his photo in a xenophobic campaign. “The photo model is my friend. I can’t sign up for confidentiality reasons, but the person in the photo is not an immigrant,” said Piash.
Withdrawal of the cartel
A judge has refused to withdraw the VOX xenophobic cartel, as requested by the Public Prosecutor ' s Office, as opposed to unaccompanied minors. On Thursday, the Prosecutor's Office called for the withdrawal of the cartel "in the shortest possible time" by the placement of an electoral cartel which, in its view, could be a crime of hatred. The money spent on a retirement pension is compared with the estimated cost of unaccompanied foreign minors, with misleading figures. The judge has dismissed the precautionary measure that the Public Prosecutor’s Office has denounced extreme right-wing training for a hate crime.
