According to the decision of the Departments of Health and Social Rights of the Government of Navarra, visits to residents in nursing homes are authorized from now on. Within the state of alarm, the measure falls within the new criteria for the second phase of the transition, according to Ministerial Order 414/2020 of 16 May.
The current Order establishes the conditions for the residents' visit to the houses under supervision and another issued on May 23 gives the Autonomous Communities competence for the management of the dispute. The political authority of Navarre has therefore announced that, from now on, visits will be possible through concerted appointments with the headquarters.
General conditions
Each center must meet two prerequisites for seeing family members: it will not be able to have either positive cases of COVID-19 or residents in quarantine.
Safety protocols
In addition to the general conditions, the protocol establishes mandatory measures to be complied with during and after the visit, such as hand disinfection, body temperature measurement, use of face masks and maintenance of two meters away. In addition to these mandatory requirements, it is recommended to travel directly from home to the different locations of the city. Visitors who approach each other individually should follow the registration systems and circulation circuits.
Opening hours
The duration of visits can be extended between half an hour and an hour, depending on the number of residents and the organizational capacity of the center.
