Adventure trip
- Today there are no concerts, there is no music, there is no sound. Instead of ears, your eyes will work and you won't be fragile. Despite the silence, we enter the habitat where sound and image intersect. To do this, we will count on the collaboration of the collective Muinoko Hotsak.
This group, born three and a half years ago in collaboration with Gaztetxea de Vitoria-Gasteiz and Hala Bedi Irratia, has made its place on the cultural agenda of each month. Their success is based on a broad and up-to-date offer and they have already organised 18 concerts.
Since the start of the race, attempts have been made to respect agreed policies and to focus on the treatment of musicians. They attach great importance to the efforts made by the groups. Tests on the premises, assembly, disassembly, direct, loading… They define it as an adventure with a lot of work, a journey that is not easy and that requires a lot of effort.
Lumi, Dupla, Kaskezur, Tara, Anari, Ther Lookers, Inoren ero Ni, Vice-Presidents, Arenna, Azken Aukera and The Brontes have been some of the groups that have shaken the stage. Along with them have been the photographers Raul Choren and Albaro Anta, who hide behind the name of Dospordos, among others. Monthly appointments have been moved to images.
As a result of her work, the School of Arts and Crafts of Vitoria-Gasteiz hosts an exhibition composed of posters, photos and concert tickets. The photographs taken by the coordination between one camera and four hands have been disseminated to the four winds on both sides of the city.
This graphic material is accompanied by posters by Anta. The murals are in their own style and are filled with vivid colors. In each one of them you see a speaker and a hidden house. The first refers to the radio and the second to the young man on the hill where the concerts are held.
The photographs of the exhibition give us the opportunity to see the unrepeatable experiences of all those directly involved. The images of the concert announcing signs will remind us of the value of the post-stage work and the rigorous and humorous design used in the tickets will invite us to enjoy the performances.
