Trap in a AA image contest with real photo
- In an Internet-based photography competition, in 1839 Color Photography Awards, a trap is produced. Last year, however, the opposite happened: a (almost) winner of a photo competition with an artificial image...
Up there is the real photograph, which the author called "Flamingone." It looks like a crazy flamenco, but between feathers the bird has its head hidden in the hidden part of the body. Miles Astray allegedly took the photo on the island of Aruba, but presented it to the artificial intelligence section of the 1837 competition, where he won the 3rd prize of the priest (and the first one for the vote of the public). To show that the boundaries between the artificial, the real and the artistic achievement are diffuse, it is worth noting what happened last year: the opposite happened. At the Sony World Photography Awards competition, photographer Boris Eldagsen presented the image of The Electrician... He was about to win, but at the last moment the photographer acted more honestly and communicated to the organization what he did with didactic intent.
