From May to September, the Iradier Arena of Vitoria-Gasteiz (former bullring) will host a wide variety of cultural shows. In advance, the space will be enabled so that 600 people can be accessed in compliance with the safety standards in force at each time. The Kultura bizia initiative, which brings together 31 cultural actors, is the driving force behind the project that has been presented this Monday. The Basque Government, the Council of Álava and the City of Vitoria-Gasteiz will be responsible for the adequacy of the space, which will have a budget of 220,000 euros.
For starters, music
The promoters of the initiative explain that the intention is to organize cultural activities of all kinds: dance, theatre, music, cinema... At the moment it is the music concerts that have been made known. Three have an exact date: Excavator and Crim (May 15): Talco eta The Potes (22 May); Gatibu (29 May). Although there is no specific date yet, the concerts of The Baboon Show, Mambo Jambo and tears of Blood have also been announced. As explained, the activities can be organized by any member of Kultura Biziak, paying a rent and receiving some of the money obtained from the entrance and from the bar. People who are not will also have the opportunity to use the space, but paying a higher rent.
