On Thursday the 60th day of strike among the staff of Osakidetza will be held and a protest will be held at the Donostia Hospital at the demonstration convened by the ELA union. They will report on the extraordinary clean-up decrees of recent weeks, as well as on strike and negotiation.
On the other hand, the unions LAB, UGT, CCOO and ESK started the three-week strike cycle on Wednesday. From 26 April to 16 May, stops are convened to request the equalization of the conditions of the cleaning personnel with the other staff of Osakidetza. They complain that the staff of the subcontracted cleaning service have been uninsured for five years and that the company and the management of Osakidetza are violating the principle of approval and are holding each other accountable.
On Wednesday, demonstrations were held in Araba, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa. In Vitoria-Gasteiz they protested in the University Hospital of Álava, in Barakaldo from the town square to the Hospital de Cruces and in Gipuzkoa two demonstrations in the hospitals of Donostia and Zumarraga. On Thursday morning they moved to the Gasteiz Parliament.
