Already 39 Muslim nationalists killed by Hindus in India
- Since last Sunday, 23 February, the riots in the streets of Delhi have not ceased. Hindu nationalists are facing protests against a new law that discriminates against the Muslim community, and the neighborhoods where Muslims live are full of violence.
The Hindus have burned mosques and houses and workplaces of Muslims and the death toll has risen to 39, including a police officer.
The Delhi Police, which has been criticized for "ineffectiveness", has asked citizens to record videos related to violence for evidence.
The Government in the spotlight
The Government has dismissed a critical judge with the riots, who has been accused of disobedience. Justice S Muralidhar has strongly condemned the Government and the police for their actions. It has come to the conclusion that this is a government responsibility and that its obligations are not being fulfilled. The judge has been dismissed on the same day as the ruling of the National Court has been known.
This decision has caused great indignation among Muslims, believing that the Government is punishing the Muslim minority.
From India secular to nationalist
After 72 years of secular mandate, a nationalist Hindu came to the Government of India in 2014. The current Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, took the baton and, after two months, began to implement the first "Islamophobic" measures. She abolished the autonomy of the State of Katxemi, the only country in India with a Muslim majority. The measures brought about by the conflict were understood by many as the decision to create a Hinduist India.
The Prime Minister has offered a three-day silence in the face of unrest in the country ' s capital. After that, he has asked the Indians, through Twitter, "peace and fraternity" in the region.
