The Earth Liberation Front launches over 3,000 eucalyptus between Hernani and Arano
- The Earth Liberation Front has informed the media of its direct action in April. On the border between Gipuzkoa and Navarra, the industrial plantation located between Hernani and Arano has brought down more than 3,000 eucalyptus, he said, "in favor of the native forest". These plantations are made by minimizing everything that exists (land and living things). They involve soil erosion, loss of biodiversity and the industrialization of the mountains. This can be clearly seen in the valley where the action was carried out (also), with only one assistance". He adds: "This action responds with losses to those who only look at the benefits. Eucalyptus has been prone to the advancement of other species in a shattered land".

The Earth Liberation Front has said about the actions that have so far been carried out in favour of living forests: "We know that many groups in the Basque Country have risen in the face of these humble and capitalist intentions. We wish to express our appreciation and gratitude to all those groups who work and care for the land for the diversity, life and sustainability of forests. This initiative is not intended to represent or underestimate anyone's contribution. So things, all that creative work has been added to an action of destruction."
