The Earth Liberation Front takes action to demolish thousands of eucalyptus in an industrial plantation. He severely criticizes the "problem of eucalyptus plantations" in the note: "This species is used in monoculture to obtain the maximum economic yield of the soil, as has been previously used insignis pine. These plantations are made by minimizing everything that exists (land and living things). They involve soil erosion, loss of biodiversity and the industrialization of the mountains. This can be clearly seen in the valley where the action was carried out (also), with only one assistance". He adds: "This action responds with losses to those who only look at the benefits. Eucalyptus has been prone to the advancement of other species in a shattered land".

The Earth Liberation Front calls for direct action

The Earth Liberation Front has said about the actions that have so far been carried out in favour of living forests: "We know that many groups in the Basque Country have risen in the face of these humble and capitalist intentions. We wish to express our appreciation and gratitude to all those groups who work and care for the land for the diversity, life and sustainability of forests. This initiative is not intended to represent or underestimate anyone's contribution. So things, all that creative work has been added to an action of destruction."

At the end of the note he has sent to the media, citizens have been invited to "use direct action and sign as Earth Liberation Front if such initiatives are wanted and carried out, according to the global call".
