On Wednesday morning they released LAB members detained by the National Police the day before. The three detainees have been held for 24 hours, and they have been taken to the streets without being brought to justice. The two detainees have been released without the need to testify before the magistrate of the Court of Inquiry No. 2 of Pamplona/Iruña.
In total, six members of the National Police were arrested, although one of them was released within a short distance: Izaskun Juarez, secretary of LAB of the region Iruñerria - Pyrenees.
The six LAB members have been arrested, two from the cleaning sector and one from the union’s private federation, while the rest have. The representatives of the cleaning industry have been charged with a crime against road safety for the event that took place on 9 April, when he jumped on a truck from the company ISN. The rest of the defendants are charged with public disorder and threats against the headquarters of the CEN employers on 8 March, which was shot with red dust.
LAB sees no crime in the actions behind the arrests, but although the Police were against it, it has stated that quoting these six people, without having to carry out the arrests: "It wasn't necessary to set up this police operation." The union has announced that it will be holding a press conference tomorrow at the EiTB headquarters in Bilbao. In addition, they have called a mobilization "against police abuse" for this Saturday in Pamplona, starting at 17:00 hours, from the Palace Baluarte.
