115,000 tons of discarded food in Navarra
- In Navarre each individual spends 75 kilos of food in the trash every year. In total, 115,000 tonnes. They're edible foods, but no solution. An awareness-raising campaign will be launched to ensure that 15 local entities minimize unused food. Bars and restaurants will be distributed 70,000 packages so that those who eat can bring home what is left on the plate.

One in three foods goes into the container. These data have been provided by the Ministry of Ecological Transition. In order to solve this problem, an awareness campaign will be launched in bars and restaurants: Through 70,000 packages, users will be offered the opportunity to collect surplus food from the dish and bring it home. In addition, bags and tablecloths will be distributed.
This campaign will involve 15 local authorities. The aim is to make people aware of the amount of food that is thrown away.
