On 16 September, the 47 Basques charged in macro-summary 11/13 for their support for Basque prisoners and their families will be tried. In recent months they have received numerous gestures of solidarity from all over Euskal Herria, and on 12 September young people will also mobilize against macro-judgment and in solidarity with the accused.

Convened by ERNAI, the students will mobilize in the morning in four university campuses, and in the afternoon in the four capitals of Hego Euskal Herria. In addition to the mobilizations in the Basque capitals, they have called for protests to be held in other localities and educational centers.

Along with the poster, Ernai has stressed that young people have as their goal "an Basque Country free of prisoners" and have reaffirmed "in the commitment to resolve the conflict", placing themselves "in the popular thrust" to "solve it". They have also ensured that young people commit themselves "in a thousand and one compromises" in favour of Basque prisoners and that they will continue to commit themselves until "all the bars are torn down".

In the note, they stressed that they must "build a free Basque Country in their daily work" and stressed the need to "promote a political project for independence, socialism and feminism". “They want to look back at this people and it is up to us young people to take steps forward.” Finally, they demanded "the immediate acquittal of all defendants" and pointed out that "the most effective way to challenge this macro-judgment is to multiply the fight for the release of the last prisoner".

Call to Bilbao

Under the slogan “47 in the people”, a massive demonstration was held on 14 September in protest at the trial and in support of the neighbours involved in the macrosumary.

The young people have emphasised that they will also come to the concentration, and have encouraged the rest of the young people and the citizens they come to.
