The newspaper Le Monde has taken up the details of the announcement by Prime Minister José Manuel Castex of the Ministry. From May 19 all shops and terraces of hospitality will be opened with their own conditions.
From May 19, restaurants, bars and cafes will be able to open 50% of their capacity for terraces, up to a maximum of six people sitting at tables and on a compulsory basis. The interiors will remain closed.
They will be able to open all shops, keeping a distance of eight square meters per customer.
For cultural events, film and theatres can be made public, but covering 35% of their capacity and hosting up to 800 viewers.
Libraries, museums, monuments and exhibitions shall have an area of eight square metres per person. The only festivals allowed will be those held outdoors and sitting, with a maximum allowable capacity of 35 per cent and a maximum allowable capacity of 1,000 people.
In outdoor sports infrastructures, the activity will begin without limit, but only for priority sportsmen and women. Non-preferential persons may only practise non-contact sports in groups of up to 10 persons. The maximum capacity of viewers will be 35% and the maximum capacity of 1,000 spectators.
In indoor sports infrastructures such as swimming pools or pavilions, priority activities, in particular school and after-school activities, may only be initiated. The capacity will be extended to the public by 35% and the maximum capacity will be 800 people.
In religious events and in the weddings of the municipalities, the public will be able to sit in one in three seats. A maximum of 50 persons may meet at outdoor funeral events.
From 9 June, 100% of the capacity of the terraces can be used, with a maximum of six people at the tables. It will also be possible to use the interior of the hospitality, in 50% of its capacity. In the bars you will not be allowed to take anything in the bar.
The space reserved for trade per customer shall be reduced from eight to four square metres.
Cinemas and theatres can increase the use of their capacity from 35% to 65%.
Museums and libraries shall have an area of four square metres per spectator.
In outdoor and sitting festivals, 65 per cent of their capacity can be offered and can be grouped to a maximum of 5,000 people. But the actions of more than 1,000 people will require a health pass.
All will be able to play outdoor contact sports in groups of up to 25 people.
In indoor sports, non-contact sports may be practised by anyone, using 50% of the capacity of such infrastructures. Both outdoors and inside sports buildings, 65% of their capacity will open up to the public, with a maximum capacity of 5,000 people. Sports events for more than 1,000 people will require a medical pass.
The maximum number of people to be grouped in funerals will be 75, being able to sit in one of every two seats in both weddings and ceremonies.
Most prohibitions will be suspended as the curfew of the National Police is broken. Guests will be able to fully open the terraces and the interior, but they will have to be consumed sitting.
There will be no limitation in shops, cinemas, theatres, museums, libraries and holiday halls.
Concerts may be held with the maximum capacity to be determined by the prefecture and with the health protocol to be followed. Concerts by more than 1,000 viewers will require a medical pass. Outdoor festivals will have to take care of a space of four square meters per person and there will be a maximum number of participants.
Funerals, ceremonies and weddings do not set a maximum duration limit.
In sport, the public will have no maximum limits and a medical pass will be required in events of more than 1,000 people. There will be no conditions for outdoor or indoor sports.
The reader may review the "health pass" to the citizen in the number of situations described above: More than 1,000 people come together in all events. This health pass consists of the certificate of being vaccinated, the certificate of having tested negative or having tested positive for COVID-19 before 15 days.
