They've arrived and we started the scoreboard as soon as we see the first sweet dates advertiser. Yes, every year the same, and every year the same issue certainly. The fact is that it happens every year, without missing, and every year Jesus is born. And what bothers, apparently, is that for once you have to make gifts, or put lights in the street, that the kids are dressed in baserritarras. But it bothers me a lot more “the best thing about these parties is to meet with the family” all Catholics. That seems to me the worst of these holidays. The game of chairs starts, everybody wants one, they feed very martian relationships in exchange for the guarantee of being one forever. Number of steps in some approvals. How many robberies in some silences. And whoever has a family gets angry at some point in the evening, “at the moment I am not…”. They are closed parties, dates in which each shows their intimate happiness (no) so they are not needed either on the street, on the horseback, or on the street. If you have family.
And some of you will be misunderstood. What is that? If you're alone, you might worry. I mean, if you're not happy, maybe it's your responsibility. In my case I am sure. But down here is a world that happy people don't understand. Many of those who have not been invited to the merendolas (and not because of their guilt, sometimes only that one is right, not all), who cannot go, who cannot do … For all the merendolas are agreed at the same time. Not only do you see the merendola that corresponded to you, but you have to see all the others. Displays are a bit obscure. And the question isn't whether you like merining them. Some people don't like it, they also look like preventive campaigns. The point is that every year you have to ask yourself if that year, still, at some point you would be kept in the chair. That you are not doing the deserving of someone more sad than anyone does not deserve it. I don’t know, one year we can go the other way: that those who will spend the dinners/meals in the company be hidden, that organize a scandal in secret (surely many would enjoy more, some even if they hide merendoles…). Imagine that in those days we are all alone. Only on those dates.
But to those who, for the moment, at least, will be alone, surrounded by people, or without anyone beside them (but yet I, for the moment, at least, am not…).
