The most multitudinous movement in favour of Basque is on its way: 'Korrika'
- Klika (‘Clic’) is the eslògan which has been chosen for this year's Korrika ('Run'), which is the 21st estafi it will be held. In the words of Mertxe Mujika, AEK's chief coordinator, this 21st run will hold true to Korrika's initial objectives: financing the Basque school and as pro-Basque language activism.
Klika is the eslògan for this year's Korrika, and that is the word which will be used to express commitment to Basque, learning it and using it.
The 2019 run will also serve to pay tributi to a person who made an enormous contribution to the normalisation of the language: Writer, global, politician, activist and thinker Jose Luis "Txillardegi" Alvarez Enparantza. Txillardegi died in 2012, and the organizers have underlined his work towards the standardisation of the language.
