Four people were fined in Sestao for playing the txistu instrument. The mayor of the town prohibited the use of the instrument and the following four disobeyed the order: Luis María Igartua, Iñaki Urrutia, Iñaki Larrinaga and Sabino Arana. The following day, all four were imprisoned for refusing to pay the fine. They were tortured during detention. Neighbours showed their support in protesting the arrests.
