The death triangle was the first of many murders in the area between Hernani, Urnieta, Andoain and Astigarraga, and its objective was to respond with terror to ETA’s struggle.

Triple A is one of the names of the Spanish secret services for the dirty war, composed of extreme right-wing members and mercenaries. These groups killed at least 70 people in the Basque Country.
