The Inquisitor Tomás de Torquemada dies in Ávila, Spain. Thousands of people were burned to their orders and hundreds of thousands of hard people were punished. He was one of those responsible for the persecution of Muslims and Jews and, in particular, one of the leaders responsible for the Jewish expulsion of 1492.
