The political institutions Segi and Askatasuna declared their continuity after the legalization of Judge Garzón the day before. The youth organization denounced Garzón's sentencing and harassment at the Baiona press conferences and Donostia's pro-amnesty group. The legal expulsion put them at the centre of repression and since then hundreds of citizens have been detained and tortured by both agents.
