The Basque prisoner Patxi Ruiz began a hunger and thirst strike. In Murcia II prison, COVID-19 organized prisoners calling for security measures to combat the pandemic and denounced the threat of death of several penitentiaries. In the first 12 days he also went on a thirst strike until one month followed his fast.
