In Paris, incidents of the deaths of two young people fleeing the police began in the suburbs: Zyed Benna and Bouna Traoré.

High levels of unemployment and clashes against repression broke out. The anger for three weeks spread throughout the French State. In addition to tens of thousands of reservist police, the government had to take the streets out.

In total, over 8,000 cars were burned and over 2,750 citizens arrested. Finally, in 2015, the agents causing the first spark were tried and acquitted.
