Korea United States Ended No Gun Ri Massacre

Korea United States ended the No Gun Ri massacre. A month earlier the Korean War began, when the North Korean army entered South Korea to unite a country divided into two. Caught surprisingly by North Korea's strength, the armies of South Korea and the United States headed to the South and a large number of refugees.

Fearing these people were disguised Korean soldiers, the Americans ordered the refugees to be killed and 300 civilians to be killed for three days.

When American soldiers retired, the Koreans helped the survivors. In 2001, the US Government called it "an unfortunate tragedy."
