Nigerian dictator Sani Abacha hangs nine people from the Ogoni people

Nigerian dictator Sani Abacha hanged nine people from the town of Ogoni. They were members of the Ogoni People's Survival Movement, including the famous writer Ken Saro-Wiwa, very uncomfortable for the government.

The people of Ogoni were in a long battle to denounce that the oil company Shell contaminated their lands and stole resources.
