Thousands of people requested the Euskaldunization of the UPV/EHU in Vitoria-Gasteiz. The march took place both in Lakua and the Basque Parliament and the Euskaldunization Group of Universities was presented.

In the past, the School of Fine Arts in Leioa had begun the struggle to obtain five Basque professors. The Faculty was occupied for several months and the struggle extended to the entire University.

The student protest was spreading and the UPV/EHU finally hired 85 Basque teachers.
