It was a protest against Turkey’s military coup d’état and the appalling living conditions in prison. This prison is known for the practice of torture and many prisoners died there. The CPC prisoners launched a fight to denounce human rights violations, but the world ignored and Dovelan wanted to look for another way to expand the fight. He was a journalist and one of the founders of PKK and is now very important among the Kurdish martyrs.
